![]() ![]() I did not get a single crash, which rules out GPU,CPU,RAM and PSU related issues.Īgain the more I think about it, the more it points to denuvo, with that error, the issues only occuring POST mania and the fact last time I had a similar issue which chkdsk fixed it was when I installed a game that had DENUVO. I've ran furmark at 8x msaa 2560x1440 for 20 minutes with prime 95 at the same time, which was pushing CPU and RAM, ontop of furmark pounding my GPU. These only emerged POST Mania install and that is when I started getting the denuvo related error in even viewer. Now I have experienced first hand.Īlso going to reiterate and played BF1 and Fortnite for 3+ hour sessions PRE MANIA install, and destiny 2 for 4 hours and had no problems. Nothing worked but the denuvo related error keeps popping up, denuvo can affect GPU Drivers by corrupting windows files, which other users have reported in the past in regards to denuvo. I updated everything, tried rolling back to multiple driver versions. Your system might not be as rock solid as you think. The benchmarks are only using directx while your corrupt file is part of the OpenGL driver (which DOOM uses too) and Nvidia is notorious for shoddy OpenGL support Its not even active unless you're running a game with it.Īlso have you updated GFX drivers recently? One of the last Nvidia releases was buggy as heck. Denuvo should have nothing to do with the GFX drivers. Originally posted by Moki:This is actually really bizarre. It might not do it to ALL PCs but it certainly can SCREW UP SOME. HAD DENUVO.ĭenuvo DOES HARM PCS, it does CAUSE CORRUPTION. Going back on it I last had this issue when I installed DOOM on release, which guess what. I have then ran a chkdsk which fixed some corrupted files but going through the event log for this prior and post chkdsk I have found not only my GPU driver being compeltely screwed but DENUVO RELATED ERRORS. ![]() I have ran prime 95 and furmark tests at the same time for 15 minutes so far with no crashes. They crash pretty much instantly or upon loading alevel. I then installed sonic mania, since then I have been gettign random power cuts and restarts in FORTNITE and BF1 so far. I have been working in IT for 6 years and know alot about hardware and software due to my jobs. Before installing Sonic Mania, I was running ,multiple games fine on my i7 1080ti 16GB RAM rig,īF1, FORTNITE, ETC. ![]()
